Applications

Braids and packing are used in industry, for the isolation of trees and stems. They go to work either as a static seal lids, frames, furnaces and boilers is kept in motion as centrifugal pumps and valves but also rotating shafts.

Description

They are made with different components according to their diverse range of use as regards temperatures, pressures and speeds: Graphite fibers, vegetable fibers, synthetic fibers, metals, lubricants and various binders Knowing how to choose the right type of braid means knowing how to evaluate some key features that distinguish the packing between them: Flexibility- stretching, twisting
Elasticità- to exercise the right seal in the presence of pressure
Compattezza- to avoid over-tightening
